When Irish Eyes Are Smiling is a well known song, that has been covered many times by many artists, even Bing Crosby had a go!

But it's the title that rings so strong for Smokie after this past weekend run of shows in Belfast, Letterkenny and Dublin.

Mike, Terry, Mick, Martin and Steve, have been truly blown away by the response that was on offer once again on the Emerald Isle. There s no doubt about it, Ireland demonstrates on every tour just how much the Irish love our music and the support on offer in Ireland is just something else!

The show in Belfast was a prelude to how the rest of the weekend would go, and with only 30 tickets short of a total sellout at the Waterfront Hall on Friday, the guys had to be at the top of their game and entertain almost 2000 "Norn Iron" loud and proud Smokie fans!

Steve said afterwards "That was the best yet in Belfast"

The show in Letterkenny had been sold out since before Christmas. Mick was back in the home town of his Father and when Mike introduced "Mick from Letterkenny on Lead Guitar" The crowd quite literally went wild!

Vicar Street in Dublin, has become a firm favourite venue in recent years for all band members and only one word can describe the sold out show last night (Sunday) and that word is "Wild" !!!!!

Thank You Ireland!  The guys have three days off now and then it's back to Ireland for gigs in Killkenny, Limerick and Drogheda.
